How it works
Convert each time to minutes after midnight and subtract. Add 1,440 minutes when the end is on the next day.
A worked example
09:00 to 17:30 on the same day is 8 hours 30 minutes, or 8.5 hours.

A common question
How do I count an overnight shift?
Select “Next day” for the end day. For example, 22:00 to 06:00 is eight hours.
